General Risk Statement
Ordinel is designed to reduce the probability of loss of control, expose anomalies earlier, and shorten the time between the emergence of a problem and its handling. It cannot eliminate all risk. As long as the system depends on external inputs, organizational governance, human maintenance, and external execution environments, misjudgment remains possible.
No Guarantee of Safety
Using Ordinel does not mean that any asset action is inherently safe, compliant, or reasonable. A control layer can help organizations identify boundary issues earlier, but it cannot take over the business, financial, or legal judgments that belong to the organization itself.
Agent and Automation Risks
AI Agents may produce actions based on polluted context, incomplete information, or conflicting upstream signals. Prompt injection, address poisoning, and context drift are real risks in Agent wallet environments. Ordinel can flag anomalies but cannot guarantee detection of every form of upstream manipulation.
Policy and Configuration Risks
The effectiveness of the control layer depends on the quality of policies configured by the organization. Misconfigured rules, stale templates, overly broad permissions, and unreviewed overrides can all reduce the system's protective value. Organizations are responsible for maintaining and reviewing their own policy configurations.
Execution Environment Risks
Ordinel operates as a pre-execution judgment layer. It does not control downstream wallet infrastructure, blockchain networks, smart contract behavior, or third-party execution systems. Failures in those layers are outside the scope of Ordinel's control.
Token-Related Risks
ODL is described in the whitepaper as a potential coordination mechanism for a future shared rules layer. Nothing in this document constitutes investment advice, a return promise, or a guarantee of token value. Digital assets carry inherent volatility and regulatory uncertainty. Any participation should be based on independent research and professional advice.
Regulatory Uncertainty
Requirements for digital assets, wallet permissions, automated execution, and data handling vary across jurisdictions. Organizations connecting Ordinel to real business environments should conduct their own legal, compliance, and regulatory review.
